    • Good location, 5 minutes drive from Ineos were I was working. Good facilities & very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean.
    • good tv comfortable headboard heating very good

    Cons -

    • I first stayed here 12 years ago, it’s starting to look a bit dated, could do with a lick of paint on the outside. Unfortunately some of the other guests from Teesside just got p|$$ed every night, so they couldn’t remember what rooms they were staying in & proceeded to knock on my door at all hours of the night & were noisy. Not the hotels fault I suppose.
    • no breakfast rude reception sink very small can’t get kettle in it no mirror either sinkplug doesn’t work
    • The toilets, very narrow and the sensors didn't work properly, the light kept turning off.

the room was very comfortable, with private bathroom, tv, fridge, coffee maker, armchair and window.

For those traveling, having Wi-Fi is essential. A pity that the hotel's Wi-Fi only works outside the rooms in public areas and we were a couple, there was only one towel in the room.

It is worth for money I paid except the extra money of £10 that I paid for key and £1 which my kid lost when he tried to get the toy from the machine that was kept in the reception and it took £1 but gave nothing.

I lost keys within the hotel/hostel but not sure why they charged me £10 when I never went out after collecting the keys and before handing over the keys and £1 which my kid lost when he tried to get the his toy from the machine that was kept in the reception and it took £1 but gave nothing.

Lovely staff, very good location for touring the area, I was on foot and was ok distance to walk to town and the Helix park for the Kelpies. Also walked to the Falkirk wheel from there, however that was a bit of a hike. Would be great base for those who enjoy walking or like to cycle or don't mind using car.

Although generally clean the carpet did look a little worn. However that's to be expected if people are using for base to hike.Nice little kitchen but a kettle in room would be nice, even if you had to pay a deposit.

    Erm, nothing

this wasn’t a hotel. it was a hostel at best. smelly due to communal kitchen, toilet dirty - urine on the floor. Not at all a place to take a family.

    7MichaelPosted on: 10-17-2022

Good value for money. Beds surprisingly comfortable.

Slightly tatty/stained fixtures (but room, bedding and communal areas were very clean)

    5RussellPosted on: 10-17-2022

Carpets where not that clean looked very tired and seamed to beca Refugee camp for the homeless.

Showers were good and good valve for money for what it was, just a bed for the night.

They cancelled my booking after I traveled to their location. I arrived 30 minutes before checking in and they asked me to wait. I went to have lunch nearby and when I came back I find out that they cancelled my booking.
